Root Sony Arc S, Neo V, and Ray on Android 4.0 ICS on baseband .562

Recently, there was a root for the 2011 Xperia line-up of devices, courtesy of android developer DooMLord from xda developers forum. If you had no success in that, don’t worry there is yet another simple rooting tool that could work for you.
Xperia_ray
The rooting tool has originated from some developer at ARC development, which asertyio of xda has tested its working.

Again this rooting only works on Android 4.0.3 with baseband .562 on the Sony 2011 Xperia devices including Arc S, Neo V, and Ray, with both locked and unlocked bootloaders.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Download Rooting tool to your computer and extract the content
  • ADB drivers installed
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. On your device, enable “USB debugging” mode by going to Menu > Settings > Developer Options > Development.
  2. Enable Mass Storage Mode (MSC) as some users reported trouble using MTP mode.
  3. Connect the phone to computer via USB cable.
  4. Run the .bat file from the unzipped content.
  5. Follow the onscreen instructions to root your device.
